It’s a new year and it’s about that time. The annual Paid Dues Independent Hip Hop Festival is back and this year’s lineup is solid.
The stages at San Bernardino NOS Events Center on Mar. 30 will be rumbling with headliners Black Hippy (Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, and Jay Rock), and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
Murs, with special guests Nipsey Hussle and local Inland Empire artist Curtiss King, announced the lineup via live stream on YouTube on Jan. 23.
Other hip hop heavyweights include: Dom Kennedy, Talib Kweli, Juicy J, Immortal Technique, Tech N9ne, Souls of Mischief, Nipsey Hussle, Mobb Deep, De La Soul, Joey Badass and Odd Future’s Syd tha Kyd and Matt Martians, AKA The Internet.
According to a recent press release, “this year’s festival will feature over 45 of Hip Hop’s most dynamic acts performing live across three stages, including the Monster Energy Stage which will make its return to Paid Dues this year. Attendees who wish to enhance their experience have the option to purchase a VIP package which provides access to the VIP pit in front of the main stage, artist meet-n-greets, a full private bar, complimentary drink tickets, and exclusive festival merchandise.”
General admission tickets are $76 and includes in price: $7 parking fee, $3 facility fee, and $1 charity
VIP tickets are $186 and includes: Access to VIP pit in front of Main Stage, Artist Meet N Greet, 2013 Festival T-shirt, Backpack, Poster, Credential, 2 Drink Tix (Under 21 non-alcoholic), Access to private Full Bar, VIP restroom facilities. Included in price: $7 parking fee, $3 facility fee, and $1 charity.
