What’s Greek This Week

Greek Life can b roaden your horizon on campus and give you time to learn all about brotherhood, sisterhood, philanthropies, community service, and academics.

This week the Panhellinic Council Sororities such as Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, Alpha Phi Sorority, Kappa Delta Sorority and Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority have gained about 30-34 new sisters to each organization.

Zeta Tau Alpha will be hosting their annual “Think Pink Week”
Sun Oct 16- Race for the Cure at Kendall Park
Tues Oct 18- Yogurt Eating Contest on the Pfau Library Lawn @2p.m.
Wed Oct 19 & 20- Coldstone Fundraiser 4p.m.- 8p.m.
Thur Oct 20- Football Tournament @Athletic field @2p.m.
Fri Oct 21- Susan G. Komen Speaker in the SMSU Theater @12p.m.
Fri Oct 21- PINK OUT! SMSU Theater @ 6p.m.

The United Sorority and Fraternity Council includes Delta Sigma Chi Coed Fraternity Inc., Lambda Theta Alpha Sorority Inc., Lambda Theta Phi Fraternity, Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Sigma Pi Alpha Sorority and Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity are still holding recruitment events.

Brothers and Sisters of Delta Sigma Chi Coed Fraternity Inc. will be meeting in front of University Hall at 1p.m. to host a beach day and bonfire at Huntington Beach on Sat. Oct 8.

The Intrafraternal Council consists of Sigma Chi Fraternity, Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and Sigma Nu Fraternity.
Recruitment events were held for the interested gentlemen earlier this week.

The National Panhellinic Council includes, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.

The brothers of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity will be hosting a BBQ Sunday from 12p.m. – 7p.m. at Kendall Park.
