Last weeks recap.

The ladies of Zeta Tau Alpha raised awareness of breast cancer, which seemed to go great.

Also the ladies of Kappa Delta Sorority hosted a “See a Flick with a KD chick” with local girl scouts troops and from the pictures I’ve seen it looked like they had a lot of fun.

So what’s new in Greek life this week?

On Mon Oct. 24, 2011 the ladies of Lambda Theta Alpha Sorority will be tabling and selling raffle tickets for baskets and an auction that they have coming up. They will be setting up their tables outside of the Santos Manuel Student Union 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wed. Oct 26, 2011 the gentlemen of Sigma Chi Fraternity will be having a Broomball social at Riverside Ice Town in Riverside, Ca. They will be meeting in front of University Hall around 9 p.m. to carpool if anyone needs a ride.

The event starts at 10 p.m. at Riverside Ice Town 10540 Magnolia Ave (A) Riverside, California. If you do not know what Broomball is let me give you the run down.

Pretty much it is like soccer, hockey, football and rugby played on an ice skating rink. Your team has to try and score a goal in the other teams net. This game is usually played with a kickball. It gets pretty rough out there, so if I were you I would bundle up because it’s going to get chilly too. It is a very amusing and entertaining event, something you would definitely enjoy just watching. Either way it’s a fun and free way to get out of the house, and meet some great people.
