Student-athletes have had a delay in their success this past year due to the rise and impact of COVID-19 throughout the year causing lockdowns in certain cities and businesses shutting down to protect everyone’s health. Since the introduction of COVID-19, the majority of our local restaurants, schools, and businesses have been negatively affected. With the rapid rise in numbers of those being affected by COVID-19, the government limited the number of businesses and activities that the communities are allowed to participate in to protect our health. Strongest Coyote Challenge
By Shane Burrell |Sports Editor| With competitions like the Iron Coyote, Swim the Bear, and the Mile High Challenge, we sometimes forget about the competitors that are concerned with pure muscular endurance, but the Strongest Coyote Challenge is going to change all of that. The Student Recreation and Fitness Center (Rec Center) has created a competition for men and women so that they can test their strength and endurance as competitive lifters.
