The good thing is that we are a part of a very active campus looking for proactive people to take part in activities. “Keep yourself busy and have fun while you’re here,” said student Kendall Smith. “Give everything your all.” There is always something happening on campus at different times and days of the week to accommodate students’ schedules. Burning into Winter quarter with TRX

By Uriel Ortega |Staff Writer| Total Body Resistance Exercise (TRX) is a high tempo, challenging, and unique exercise class offered at the Recreation Center. The class is geared to keep the heart rate pumping, calories burning, and pain thriving with the variety of different exercises. TRX Circuit Training is offered Mondays at 4:30 p.m. and Tuesdays at 12:00 p.m. in room 203 for all members of the Rec Center. The TRX Suspension Training is the best-in-class workout for doing hundreds of exercises using bodyweight. CSUSB’s Recreational Sports and ASI thrill students with 40,000 pounds of snow

By Kevin Schaefer |Staff Writer| Valentine’s Day may have brought you warm, fuzzy feelings this year, but the commons were filled with nothing but ice and snow. “Snow Day 2013” was presented by Recreational Sports and ASI from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. in the lower commons. There was 20 tons of snow, ice skating, snowboarding, tandem sled rides, food, music, giveaways and games. Active Ride Shop, Auto Club Speedway and Sizzler were also present.
