By Samantha Flores |Staff Writer| Farah Nabulsi, a British filmmaker, writer and producer, shared her journal observations regarding Palestinians via films such as "Oceans of Injustice," "Today They Took My Son," and an audio piece "The Nightmare of Gaza." Nabulsi shared with students a sneak peek of these films that will be released in May of this year. The Center for Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies (CIMES) hosted the event featuring Nabulsi in order for attendees to understand the situation of Palestinians. Martin produced many of the Beatles’ classic discography. Former drummer Ringo Starr tweeted, "God bless George Martin. Peace and love to Judy and his family, love Ringo and Barbara."   The cause of his death has not yet been released. Rolling Stone bassist diagnosed with prostate cancer Bill Wyman, former bassist of The Rolling Stones, has revealed his current battle with cancer via Twitter. The aspiring rapper realized his talent for writing music in middle school when he created versus on MySpace. However, it wasn't until high school that he decided to take things a bit more seriously and compose his own music. Sacrificing his lunch money, the Riverside native began to save up for recording equipment. He saved enough money to buy a microphone and initiated his journey to making music.
