A New Yorker in Cali: Starting Over
By Angelice Romero |Staff Writer| When I decided to do the National Student Exchange program from Buffalo State College to CSUSB, I did not think that starting over was going to be the hardest part. Granted, I moved to a state I’ve never been in, a city I’ve only heard from TV and movies and a school where I knew no one. I went from living off campus in freezing Buffalo, NY to a dorm in sunny San Bernardino, Calif. not knowing what to bring, what the weather would be like, what I need for my dorm and so forth.
