Disney Tourist Guide

May 29, 2019 by marlyn ramirez 301 Comments

The happiest place on earth is becoming the most expensive place on earth. As a Disney fanatic and annual pass holder I have visited three Disney resorts in the last three years: Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and Disney Paris. To visit three parks in three years needed extensive research and budgeting. The first step is deciding when you’re going and how long is your stay. I recommend planning your trip at least … [Read more...] about Disney Tourist Guide

Comics have affected cultures in many ways for a long time. One of the affected cultures is the movie industry. Many movies have been produced based on comic books, such as Batman and Superman. “Batman and Superman have infiltrated every major form of entertainment in America, except for the music industry,” according to Teen Ink. Like Batman and Superman, America has many superhero movies, such as those featuring Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Avengers. Disney bans line skipping for disabled and blames policy abuse

October 5, 2013 by Archived posts 44 Comments

By Yara Del Rio-Dominguez |Staff Writer| Disneyland and Disney World Resort will no longer provide visitors with disabilities a Guest Assistance Card, starting Nov. 1, 2013. Disney’s current policy offers their visitors with a disability, a Guest Assistance Card allowing guests to go to the front of the line on any ride or attraction, reducing wait time depending on their disability at no extra cost. Last summer at Radiator Springs, a popular ride inside Disneyland California Adventure, guests had no problem maneuvering through the lines. Disneyland, on the other hand, was intentionally built for pedestrians, therefore guests face difficulty maneuvering through the long … [Read more...] about Disney bans line skipping for disabled and blames policy abuse

Tough times means looking for more discounts

March 17, 2011 by Archived posts 836 Comments

By Jessica Ramirez |Staff Writer| Saving money is a goal of many people during this financial crisis. As they don’t have that extra money for those desired trips to Six Flags, Disneyland or even to the movies. It’s better paying $7 instead of $12, saving you $5 at the movies or paying $95 as opposed to a gross amount more for a two-day stay at Disneyland. Well, for students, they don’t have to look any further as Associated Student Inc (ASI) is offering the discounts you have been searching for. ASI is an organization on campus, that represent the needs and interests of our student body and promotes and organize many of the events held on campus. The ASI Box Office sells … [Read more...] about Tough times means looking for more discounts
