The team has made 18 straight appearances in the NCAA Regional Tournament. Cosmic climbing night at CSUSB

This upcoming event is free for all students at CSUSB and there is no prior experience needed for anyone trying to climb. CSUSB baseball has joined up with the Dave Stockton event to contribute to current and future Coyote student-athletes on our baseball team. Stockton, who is the club's professional golfer on staff will be there with the help of his sons Ron and Dave Jr. They will be in attendance to help coach the attendees who are paying for the event. Anticipating a great season for Coyote women’s soccer

Just $10 and some experience gave students the opportunity to tryout, showing dedication and the ability to work hard allowing players a chance to make the team. By Lily Perez |Staff Writer| Coyote’s Arielle McCullough is on the verge of setting a new Coyote volleyball record while contributing to the team’s goal, winning another conference championship. McCullough, senior captain, has 43 digs to go before surpassing Megan Haas’s all time record of 1,566 digs, set during the years of 2006 and 2008. McCullough is libero, which is a specialized defensive position that plays in the back court; they play in all back rows for the middle front, but never rotate to the front row. “I go in saying I’m not going to let the ball drop, I play like every play is my last play” said McCullough. Uriel Ortega | Staff Writer| The Coyotes split their double-header series after facing off with the Call State Dominguez Hill Toros at Softball Park last Monday. The Coyotes had a one-two-punch from Nicole Nobbe and Tiffany McIntosh, who proved to be too much for the Toros in the second game with huge hitting in the double-header. Nobbe had a fabulous day, batting 3-for-4 in the series with three doubles, which proved to be a key factor for the Coyote’s scoring. McIntosh was clutch, crushing the ball twice for home runs,adding to her lead in HRs with nine. Last season, Manuz was very productive for the team. She started 44 games, had a batting average of .273 and the second most walks on the team. She played second base for the majority of the season and finished fourth in fielding percentage with a .951. Some highlights of last year included her seven multi-hit games. Manuz transferred from Palm Desert Community College where she played both seasons and was named school athlete of the year. In a fourth game against top ranked conference opponents Humboldt State, the Coyotes fell short on upsetting the Jacks on missed opportunities, as the Coyotes fell 4-1. The first game of Valentine’s Day, the Jacks came out swinging as they slugged four home runs out of Softball Park. The Jacks took a commanding 5-0 lead with two home runs and three RBIs. The Coyotes made a statement by defeating one of the best teams of the north with precise pitching, great defense and timely hits. Coyotes Coach Tacy Duncan improved her team in the off-season by adding transfer players.
