Crafter’s night was a hit after numerous vendors, shoppers, and pups roamed the small, sectioned-off area of Monet Avenue in Victoria Gardens on Friday night, March 11th. Housing market hits all time highs, but downturn predicted to come soon

The housing market has been hitting historic highs in sales and historic lows in interest rates, but the increasing prices cannot last long and should be adjusting in the next six months, experts say. The recent events with COVID-19 and the stimulus checks that were given out by the government are one explanation as to why there has not yet been a crash in the housing market, according to real estate experts and faculty members at CSUSB. The pandemic has taken a toll on business, employees, and customers. Some businesses were forced to shut down while other businesses have slowed down. Innovation Challenge competition returns to CSUSB

Creative entrepreneurs and savvy, business-minded people will have a chance to make their ideas become reality with the return of the CSUSB Innovation Challenge competition on May 23. Students, faculty and alumni can pitch their start-up business ideas for a chance to win $20,000 in cash prizes at the main event. Prior to the final contest date, two open pitch nights were hosted on April 10 and 11 at the Bay Lounge in the Santos Manuel Student Union. City Council Roundup, Chapter 9 Bankruptcy

By Tricia Kang |Staff Writer| The San Bernardino City Council filed an emergency petition for Chapter 9 Bankruptcy in the court proceedings. Chapter 9 is to provide a financially-distressed municipality protection from its creditors while it develops and negotiates a plan for adjusting its debts according to the United States Courts website. Officials realized that they needed to address the management in order to give the city a chance after it went into bankruptcy in 2012, for $45 million. Amazon looks to make shopping easy

By Erika Aguilar  |Staff Writer| Amazon will be experimenting with a new pilot program while continuing to expand its business in the U.S. by planning to open 20,000 grocery stores within the next decade. The pilot program consists of opening 20 grocery stores at locations including, Seattle, New York, Las Vegas, Miami and the Bay Area, according to Business Insider. Amazon will also be testing out two different concepts during its program.
