Spring break plans- Get to it!

With spring break right around the corner, the only thing on students’ minds should be resting, partying, and hitting the beach.

The time off is to let loose and drink away the nights before we have to come back for the next quarter.

Unless you’re working during that week, you should be getting ready to have an eventful and relaxing time.

Some students are off to the college kid’s dream vacation with bikinis, beaches and booze.

Places like Cancun, Hawaii and Palm Springs have been filled with college students since Feb. 9 and they will have a wave of students coming in until mid April.

During spring break in these hot-spot destinations, there will be students from CSUSB, as well as many other students from all over the country. 

This time of year there are lots of special events and deals for hot spot destinations like Hawaii, Cancun and Florida. 

For students visiting Oahu, the most popular beach to visit is Waimea Bay.

It’s a very popular beach mainly because of the huge drop off point called Waimea rock.

People jump off this rock for entertainment, but once you get up there you can’t chicken out!

This kind of dare devil fun is offered in many other places too; with options like sky diving, zip lining and bungee jumping.

While on vacation make sure to do some fun stuff during the daytime. You can do some great shopping and experience the tourist-filled surroundings. 

Once the night hits, the street gets filled with locals and tourists who are ready to club hop into the wee hours of the morning. 

If your choice is to stay here in California, then go down to Palm Springs which is number one on the best places to party during spring break. For night life, the 21 and over night club, Zelda’s is number according to the city of Palm Springs website.

Los Angeles also has a lot of different clubs available for a fun night out; friday nights are dedicated to ladies: Some good shows to catch are Sweet Louie and The Men of the Hollywood Strip. There are lots of different touristy things to do like Universal Studios and almost all of Hollywood. 

If you’re up for the drive, Las Vegas would appeal to all of the spring break musts; having shopping, shows, gambling and night clubs all in one place. 

There also is Knott’s Soak City where there will be tons of sun, water and bikinis.

So whether you head down to Mexico or stay right here in California, make sure you go crazy every night because we all know the point of spring break is to get completely wild.
