CSUSB men’s soccer played an unforgettable game against the Stanislaus State Warriors.

The Coyotes outshot the Warriors 20-13 while outscoring them 6-0 to earn their seventh shutout of the year.

The first goal was scored on a free kick by Coyote defender Eric Lavery, his second of the year.

Midfielder Hieu Ngo scored the second goal of the game with an assist from forward Ivan Quintero. The goal was Ngo’s first of the year and the final goal in the first half of the game.

Defender Axel Cruz scored the third goal of the game with an assist from forward Kieron Coleman.

The Coyotes wouldn’t look back as they went on to score their fourth goal of the game. The goal was scored by forward Humberto “Beto” Salcedo with assists given to defender Dan Looker and Quintero.

Quintero would go on to score the final two goals of the game with goalkeeper Jacob Huber getting the assist for the first goal and midfielder Richard Gonzales getting the second assist.

Huber made five saves and did not allow a goal.

The blowout win lifted the Coyotes record to 7-3-1 overall and 5-2-1 in CCAA conference play.
