Juicy J sold out the Fonda Theater in Hollywood with his sick rhymes on Nov. 25 as part of the Red Bull Sound Select 30 Days in L.A. concert series.
30 Days in L.A. is a month-long concert series that presents artists from different genres at different venues throughout the city of Los Angeles for every night during the month of November.
The 25th night of the series featured soul trap rapper, MC Tree G, hip-hop group, Two-9, and the Juiceman himself, Juicy J.
The night started off with MC Tree G who captivated the audience with his deep voice.
Two-9 followed Tree’s performance and got the crowd jumping around the stage and even took a smoking break while grooving to Rick James’s “Mary Jane.”
After much anticipation, Juicy J came on stage and riled up the crowd. He did what he does best: turn the concert into a giant party.
The former Three 6 Mafia rapper recently won an American Music Award for Single of the Year for his featured verse in the Katy Perry song “Dark Horse” and definitely seemed to be in a celebratory mood.
Juicy J was energetic throughout his long set and invited several lucky audience members to join him onstage.
The Juiceman wore an expensive fur coat, a gold chain and sunglasses and at one point during the set decided to take off his shoes and give them away.
It was an intimate, packed, sweaty and rowdy crowd and Juicy J expressed his gratitude to the sea of adoring fans for their continuous support.
Juicy thanked his fans and asked “Who’s thirsty?” and started pouring champagne into red solo cups and passed them out into the audience.
The party didn’t stop there and to everyone’s surprise Juicy J invited rapper Lil Wayne on stage and the whole crowd went wild.
Lil Wayne was the best kept secret of the night and elevated the electrifying atmosphere to another unbelievable level.
The rappers made it rain with fake dollar bills as they began rapping to their popular song “Bandz A Make Her Dance,” and caused the audience to jump up and down while singing to the songs catchy rhyme.
With a blunt in hand, the Young Money rapper gifted the audience with a performance of his song “Believe Me,” and his verse from Chris Brown’s song “Loyal.”
Lil Wayne took a bow and handed the stage back to Juicy J and posted on Twitter his feelings about his surprise appearance saying, “Much luv 2 my slime Juicy J for bringing me out last night at his show!! Been knowing Juicy 4 20 years & he been a G da whole time.”
Juicy definitely outdid himself and gave the crowd just what they wanted and had the venue goin’ up on a Tuesday.
The 30 Days in L.A. concert series is exclusive to Red Bull Sound Select members and music lovers are welcome to sign up for free on the Red Bull website.
