Isabella’s Ristorante Italiano is the perfect destination for a date night, or if you’re looking to switch up your usual fast food spot with an authentic Italian restaurant.

Isabella’s is located at 330 North 6th St. Suite 112, Redlands, CA 92374.

This place is a hidden gem. It is tucked away in a shopping complex, so if you weren’t looking for it, you would most likely drive right by.

Don’t let the shopping complex or un-exciting exterior throw you off. The food does not disappoint.

Once you enter Isabella’s, you are immediately greeted by a gracious hostess who guides you to your table. Since there are plenty of tables in the restaurant, I have never found myself waiting for a seat.

The restaurant’s interior is nicely decorated but does not give off the overly fancy restaurant vibe.

The dim lighting and faint classical music sets the atmosphere for a date night or a classy dinner.

Don’t let the appearance fool you! Isabella’s is a nice restaurant that won’t leave your wallet empty.

“This place serves great Italian food for the price. My mom is 100% Italian and this food is much like hers,” stated Mel. P on Yelp.com.

Something especially great about Isabella’s is that once you are seated you are immediately given warm, complimentary bread. Each meal is served with the option of a salad or one of their delicious soups.

Each night they serve a different soup. The night I went, they happened to be serving one of my favorite soups, creamy mushroom, so I did not hesitate to choose that over a salad.

Each time I visit Isabella’s, I’m tempted to try something new, but I always end up ordering my favorite dish, the ravioli with meat sauce.

The menu stated that the ravioli and gnocchi are homemade, and I definitely believe it. The ravioli and gnocchi are so delicious and taste like something I have never had at previous Italian restaurants.

If you order either one, you will not be disappointed. The pasta envelopes are so soft, they practically melt in your mouth. The meat sauce that topped the ravioli was also equally delicious.

I ordered a soda with my meal, but if you’re looking for something a little different, Isabella’s has a great selection of wines to choose from. They also offer beer, as well as other drinks, such as their seasonal mojitos.

The menu is so large that it is divided into sections, with appetizers, salads, pasta, fish, chicken, steak, and veal.

There is bound to be something on the menu to fit everyone’s eating desires.

There is not only something for everyone’s eating preference, but there’s also something for everyone’s budget. Prices range from $12.85 for spaghetti bolognese to $28.95 for filet mignon.

Next time you find yourself taking someone special to dinner or celebrating a great accomplishment—like surviving finals week—give Isabella’s a try.
