“Meth In the Form of Smarties Candy”
A middle school student found snorting meth that was packaged to resemble Smarties candy.
The pink pill was confiscated and tested positive for methamphetamine, after the student claimed it was just candy.
The investigation is continuing, although the Police Department believes this to be an isolated incident.
The 14-year-old student faces a charge of being in possession of a controlled substance, according to Fox News.

A man was rescued from a cliff in California after proposing to his girlfriend.
Michael Banks, 27, was rescued by helicopter while attempting to climb down the 600-foot Morro Rock, off California’s Central Coast.
Banks was later charged with meth possession, after his girlfriend said yes, according to the NY Daily News.

“Killed Osama bin Laden, Charged With a DUI”
A former Navy SEAL who claimed to have killed Osama bin Laden was arrested and charged with a DUI.
Rob O’Neill, 39, was found asleep in a running car parked at a convenience store in his hometown of Butte, Montana.
O’Neill was charged when he refused a Breathalyzer test.
He was released after posting a $685 bond.

More than 13,000 Amazon customers have signed a petition calling for the company to cut ties with Donald Trump.
The petition was created by a women’s rights group, the UltraViolet, to reject Trump’s sexism, racisim, and xenophobia.
They are asking Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to stop profiting off of Donald Trump’s hate according to Business Insider.

“A Murder Suspect Making Sandwiches”
A wanted murder suspect was extradited after being found working in Subway.
Piotr Kupiec, 28, was wanted in relation to the death of a man after a soccer match in 2007.
Kupiec had been named a suspect on Interpol’s wanted list and a warrant was issued for him on charges of allegedly causing death by manslaughter or murder, assault or maltreatment, and theft.

Ringo Starr Cancels North Carolina Show Over “Bathroom Law”
Ringo Starr canceled a show in North Carolina over the new “Bathroom Law.”
The Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act requires individuals to use bathrooms corresponding to the gender on their birth certificate and is seen as discriminatory towards transgender people.
The move by Starr follows last week’s decision by Bruce Springsteen to cancel his show in North Carolina, as well as Bryan Adams in Mississippi to protest a similar law.

“Tech Billionaire Gives $250 Million to Cancer”
The former Facebook president is donating $250 million to fight cancer.
Sean Parker, 36, announced the creation of the Parker Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy (PINC) through his foundation, the Parker Foundation.
The PINC will focus on the emerging field of cancer immunotherapy, which harnesses the body’s immune system to fight cancer cells.

An Ohio woman has been accused of live-streaming the rape of a 17-year-old friend on the Twitter-owned video app Periscope.
Marina Alexeevna Lonina, 18, is accused of using the app to live-stream video while an acquaintance, Raymond Boyd Gates, 29, allegedly committed the rape at a home in Columbus, Ohio.
Lonina and Gates were indicted on multiple charges, including kidnap, rape, sexual battery and pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, according to CNN.
