The sunset at an early time,
Truly beautiful at any sighting be
The cold breeze against my facial cheeks
In a drive down the interstate
The beach is what I seek,
In this time November
When there are all, but none down by the shore
All, but the locals who can call the beach their home
The colder than usual air
In this month’s fall,
I dare dream of entering the pacific
For this weather suffices my just needs
The beauty of the vast ocean
The fog that covers the horizon
I sit in complete awe
At the intensity of the beauty before me
The sand, more freezing than in any time a year,
Cold sand against bare feet, sand sensation cold as much as snow
I see there really is no one,
No one, but me
And afar a lifeguard staying ever so vigilant
As the tide is quite rough this time of year
I just sit there,
With all those anxious thoughts in mind
Of all the things passing through
It seems so irrelevant now so far away from home,
I sat there with a complete blank state of mind
For the beach in the fall is just simply so beautiful…
